All through our lives we are face with challenges. What defines our direction in life is how we confronted and handled those challenges. Some of them are harder to overcome than others, but the bottom line is we can always overcome them. If we want to. And that is the question. Do you want to just run away from these challenges? Or confront them head on and really make a difference in your life.
I think that too often it seems easier for a lot of people to just run away from them. I know in the past I have done that. But when I look back at those situations, I often ponder what could have been. Where would I be now if I had chosen to take on that particular challenge and over come what ever obstacle there was? All I can say is that I know things would be different.
So it all comes down to do we want to take on the challenges. It may take a change in attitude, or in mindset to make that decision. But it can be done. I for one am going to take them on. When you encounter a situation where you have set a goal and a challenge arises, take up the challenge. It may be the only way you will achieve your goal. Don’t get to a point when all you can do is look back and wonder what if.
Set you goals high. Make them seem like they are unachievable. And when those challenges arise and you fall down, get back up and keep going. You can achieve anything you want. But you have to have the courage and desire to pursue those dreams.
Here is a video that I got from a friend not that long ago. It really says a lot about what we can achieve, and the challenges we can overcome.
When I watched this it really brought to light some things. The challenges that I have don’t come close to those of some others. And if DJ can do what he did, there is no reason I can’t achieve anything I set my mind to.
So everyone, dream big! “If you have a dream, go after it. Don’t let anybody tell you, you can’t do something.” – DJ Gregory
Thank you DJ for your inspiration!

Hello Bill,
Outstanding Article! Even more outstanding the question — Are you going to run away from challenges or confront them?
Challenges are stepping stones to how we live our life and how we fail or succeed in business. We use our stepping stones to measure where we are and where we want to go. Keys are those things we use to guide us. These are the 11 keys we’re guided by and that we teach others …
1.) Find Your Passion — Something You Love
2.) Have Tangible Goals
3.) Have Courage to Go the Distance
4.) Mindset — Keeping Focused
5.) Attitude — Keeping it Positive
6.) Success IS a Mindset
7.) Flexibility — Life Throws Us Curves
8.) Durability – - Strength for the Long Haul
9.) Stay Connected — You’re in the People Business
10.) Have the Ablility to Self Motivate
11.) Take Every Challenge as a Gift, It’s Opportunity
You’re right about NEVER letting someone else tell you that you can’t accomplish your goals. Your goals are directly related to how much of yourself you are willing to commit to any one thing. Be willing to go the distance and accept the challenge and …you’ll Succeed no matter what anyone tells you!
Great Article Bill! You’ve inspired yet another article for us to write and publish …isn’t this blogging thing the greatest?
